Here are some neat-o acoustic versions of some classic punk tunes.
Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

Just this week I played Borstal Breakout for the first time in a long time. Think I shy away from Sham 69 because they remind me of Simon Wilde, his early death, and that sort of thing. Great song.
I wish I had a radio station, so people could listen to a song like Borstal Breakout every now and then and ask themselves, "What the fuck was that?"
the local "alt" rock station actually played Sham 69's version of Borstal Breakout a couple of weeks back and the dj talked about the band for a couple of minutes as well. i almost drove into a pole when I heard it!
