Is it just me, though, or does anybody else feel remotely that Jeff Buckley had a bad habit of sounding vaguely like Freddie Mercury ?
I thought not. Mind you, he doesn't do too bad a shot on this one though.
I don't know if it's a "bad" habit if you CAN sound like Freddie Mercury. Not many people can come remotely close. I think Jeff Buckley had a great voice and, although he couldn't match Freddie, he acquits himself quite nicely.
i always think when i hear that song that it must have pretty shocking to hear "fuck" on a recording. I mean aren't the hippies the ones who grew up to label records with "contains explicit material" on them?
