More Brains!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It has been established that persons who have recently died have been returning to life and committing acts of murder. A widespread investigation of funeral homes, morgues, and hospitals has concluded that the unburied dead have been returning to life and seeking human victims. It's hard for us here to be reporting this to you, but it does seem to be a fact.

Yeah, they're dead. They're all messed up.

Zombies fukkin' rule. I absolutely love Zombie flicks, books and comics. Whether it's the "Romero Rules" zombies; or the revisionist "speed demon" types; most of the films are fun.

I'm psyched that Romero is coming out with the 5th of his "Dead" films "Diary Of The Dead". And the "I Am Legend" big budget movie with Will Smith looks cool too (OK- they're not officially Zombies, but it's close enough for rock n roll)!

If you haven't seen all of the following, get yer bad selves to your local vid shop immediately!

And highly recommended is "World War Z- An Oral History". Read recollections from survivors of the Zombie War.

and remember...

They're coming to get you Barbara!

And there are lots of movies about him.

Yeah, Bubba was more of a supernatural kind of deal, not an undead kind of deal! Although, subtitles in hieroglyphics totally rules!

I too share your zombie love. You must remove the head, or destroy the brain.

Oooh, also, I saw this at the L.A. Film Festival this year:

It's worth a DVD rental. VERY CHEESY. Great title!

I think the first movie to focus on Zombie's eating brains was Return Of The Living Dead. I am pretty sure that previous film Zombies were non discriminating about what part of the body they would eat.

from the movie...

Ernie : Why do you eat people?
1/2 Woman Corpse: Not people. Brains.
Ernie : Brains only?
1/2 Woman Corpse: Yes.
Ernie : Why?
1/2 Woman Corpse: The PAIN!
Ernie : What about the pain?
1/2 Woman Corpse: The pain of being DEAD!
Ernie : It hurts... to be dead.
1/2 Woman Corpse: I can feel myself rotting.
Ernie : Eating brains... How does that make you feel?
1/2 Woman Corpse: It makes the pain go away!

Zombie films have had a renaissance lately. There have been about 10 in the last three years. one day i will catch up with all of them. Right now I am a zombie with 3 kids under the age of 5...

Let's just hope Romero won't further humanize ZOMBIES. ZOMBIES must be dumb, slow and and hungry. Just like me. No talking, no thinking, no reasoning, no revenge feelings or plans. That sucked so bad since "Day of the Dead" when the ZOMBIE-pussyfication set in.

agreed! I want no sympathy for zombies. They're bad bad bad! You should never have a rooting interest in them!
