We discovered Petey in our yard a while back. Isn't he cute? Well, his death is gonna be on your hands...unless I'm convinced to let him live.
And here's a great recipe imma gonna use if Petey ends up doin' the dirt nap.
In honor of Petey...here are some songs inspired by his precarious status.

Let Petey live! Possums are quite beneficial, actually. They eat stuff that people like to have eradicated...snails, insects, misplaced garbage and stuff like that.
Also, they are NOT rabies carriers, contrary to popular belief. You are more likely to contract rabies from your mail carrier than from a possum. Don't believe it? Look it up.
Thanks for all the great music and for leaving Petey be. All he wants is to be left alone, as would you.
Regard,
Hey, Petey owes me money! Let 'im live! What would the Pict say if he was one small furry animal short of a groove?
Now I'm torn. I'm happy to leave a comment, but I'm just as happy to see an opossum die. What to do? What to do? What to do?
train him to fight other possums.
What, no Super Furry Animals? Or "Possum Kingdom"?
FREE PETEY!!!
You should have included "Carve That Possum" by Southern Culture On The Skids!
Fer Pete's sake!
mmmmmmmmmmmmm Possum Pie !
Petie talked himself into keeping his whiskers and long pre-hensile tail. As he was rather convincing that the ecological holocaust is right around the corner, Petie aligned with us against the terrors that will come. However, Petie is not Catholic, so if that rapture shite come's a knockin, we're gonna have no patince at all for that stuff.
Lock and Load gentlemen.
